East Bay Coworking: The Latest
These days there are many options for coworking in the East Bay, and a lot of them are new. Some of the more unique locations are mixing flexible workspace with rooms for creativity. Others are positioning themselves as community centers for workshops and events. Whatever the case, if you’ve grown out of your home office and the local coffee shop is just too rowdy, maybe it’s time to check one of these guys out.
The Port — Two locations (317 Washington and 101 Broadway).
Tech Liminal — Downtown Oakland. Great vibe. Check out their classes, meetups, and workshop weekends!
Oakstop — 1721 Broadway. Flexible workspaces + creative energy.
Pacific Workplaces — A variety of spaces for private and group workspaces, event and meeting rooms, community events and more.
Victory Workspace — Located in downtown Walnut Creek with hourly-to-monthly plans for different workspace needs.
Office Evolution — Everything from virtual workspaces to private offices and virtual assistants available here.
Mothership HackerMoms — “…is the first-ever women’s creative life lab for mothers (broadly defined). We make, we hack, we start businesses, we collaborate and commiserate, we fail together, and we grow together.”
NextSpace Berkeley — Across from downtown Berkeley BART station.
The Office — “Nestled in the heart of Downtown Berkeley’s vibrant Arts district, with an expansive communal café seating area, and options for both open and private office spaces.”
Workstation West Berkeley — A dynamic coworking and event space in West Berkeley.
Regus Berkeley — Located less than a mile from UC Berkeley, 40 private offices available as well as limited open workspaces.
Phoenix — Alameda’s first co-working space “aims to foster a synergistic atmosphere for works of all types to to share in the pursuit of an efficient work day.” Located in the former Redux gallery space on Lincoln Avenue.
Regus Alameda — Co-working in bright open plan spaces and dedicated office space available. Located near Webster St. on Marina Village Pkwy.
Gate 510 — “…an innovative tech and biotech campus in San Leandro for scientists, entrepreneurs, makers, creators and visionaries to collaborate, create, invent and work.”
