Free E-Waste Recycling for Alameda County

e-wasteGreen Computing Tip

Stop letting that obsolete monitor collect dust in your storeroom. WasteNot, an electronics recycling program of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County, offers free electronics recycling throughout Alameda County.

The program is a social enterprise endeavor, and employs individuals with barriers to employment. There are e-waste drop-off locations in Alameda, Livermore, Fremont and Oakland, and bulk pickup is available too. Andrew, their local Rep., indicated they’re also willing to visit San Francisco for bulk pickup jobs.

There’s no excuse not to dispose of your e-waste the right way, especially if you live in the SF Bay Area. So come on, step up to the plate and do the right thing. The Earth deserves it.
